Mid Plains Diesel is looking for a skilled Diesel/Heavy Equipment Technician.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy equipment, machinery, trucks, and trailers, as well as hydraulic, diesel, and gas-powered systems
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
• Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake service, and hydraulic system maintenance
• Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot fault codes and performance issues
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including the ability to read schematics, use diagnostic software, and operate specialized tools
• Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Completion of a heavy equipment/truck transport apprenticeship or trade certification preferred
